Sochi

Activities

• A short stroll from the beach - across the Sochi River - visitors can discover the 14.7 hectares of the Riveria Park - home to art galleries, cafes, games and amusement rides amid magnolia trees planted by Russia's astronauts.


• The sun-to-snow temperatures of the region produce a diverse range of plants which can be seen in the Dendrary Botanical Garden.


• Close by is the Friendship Park and museum. The art museum offers a display of constantly changing works by local, national and international artists.


• Many of Russia's best known singers, performers and theatre companies tour Sochi in the summer. Russian classics are performed at the old Winter Theatre, while at the nearby Summer Theatre, performances are held Greek-style in the open air.
